Designed for cleaning varnishes paintings of dust, dirt and old varnish oxidation, the Winsor & Newton Artist’s Picture cleaner is a natural oil emulsion containing ammonia.
Using a small amount on a cotton pad or soft cloth, gently clean small areas of your painting in small circular motions.
This Artists’ Picture Cleaner can also be used for treating unvarnished painting but please ensure to take great care and stop the process immediately if any colour or paint appears to be coming off the painting.
